Speech Recognition Devices

Speech recognition devices are also called Voice Recognition Devices. Voice recognition is a type of input method where a microphone is used to enter data in form of spoken words into the computer. This method is mostly suitable for the handicapped especially those with impaired hands.Although this is a fast and easier method,it has some disadvantages.
It is complex to develop and it does not take care of speech related problem's such as accents, inflections and tone. This implies that the device must learn the unique speech of an individual.
