Conclusion

A wave is a periodic disturbance in a solid, liquid or gas
as energy is transmit.

Wavefront
-An imaginary line or surface that joins points in a wave travelling through a medium that are in phase.
-Wavefront is the continuous line joining all the points at crest or same phase in a wave traveling through a medium.

Ripple tank can produce plane and circular waves.

All the basic properties of waves, including reflection and refraction,  can be demonstrated using a ripple tank.

Rectilinear propagation is a property of waves travelling in straight line and perpendicular to the wave front.

Reflection of waves involves a change in the direction  of waves when they bounce off a barrier/reflector. i.e straight reflector, concave  and convex reflector.

Refraction of waves involves a change in the direction of waves as they pass from one medium to another.Refraction,or bending of the path of wave,is accompanied by  a change in speed and wavelength of the waves.
