ACTIVITY 4 INSULATORS AND CONDUCTORS

ELECTRIC CHARGE may be transferred from one point to another. This transfer of charge is called flow.

Charge flow may occur in different media. For example, in space/air its called charge leakage.

when it occurs in solids, we call it electric conduction. However, some solids allow flow of charge through them. These are called conductors.

Other solids do not allow charge to flow through them-insulators.
