There are several stylistic devices used in literary work, most of which you learnt earlier, especially in the study of poetry, oral literature and literature set texts. Some of these are juxtaposition, oxymoron, hyperbole, sarcasm, satire, irony, humour etc. In this lesson, however, we shall focus on Sarcasm and Satire.
