Most Animals have Evolved to have eyes that enable them adapt to their various habitats.Nocturnal animals eg Leopards,Owl have eyes that see well in the dark.This enables them when hunting for prey. the Eagle has eyes that see well during the day and at great distances. Reptiles like crocodiles can see well under water thanks to the design of their eyes.
Insects have compound eyes that are analogous to those of chordates but still show converges evolution.
