The Human Eye is a sense organ with Photoreceptors that perceive light from objects.
They are contained in cavities /sockets in the skull called Orbits where they are lined with fats that cushion them against mechanical damage due to shock.
They are suspended by rectus muscles i.e
a] Lateral muscles- move the eyes side ways
b] Superior and Inferior - move the eyes up and down
c] Oblique muscles- steady the eyes as it moves up and down
