Move the tip of the Object arrow or the point labeled focus.
Move the arrow to the right side of the mirror to get a convex mirror.
By convention, full lines represent real rays and objects while dotted lines represent virtual rays and images.
Using geogebra activity above adjust the object to be;
in the cases above, write the characteristics of the image formed.
1. the image is formed is between Center of curvature and principal focus, it is real, it is inverted, it is smaller than the object(diminished)
2. The image formed is at center of curvature, it is real, it is inverted, it is the same size as the object.
3. The image formed is beyond center of curvature, it is real, it is inverted, it is larger than the object( magnified)
4. The image formed is at infinity. rays emerge parallel after reflection.
5. The image formed is behind the the mirror, it is virtual, it is upright( erect), it is magnified.
