RATIONALE

Volume is a concept that is of relevance to the real world. To begin with, careers in engineering and physics fields use volume for fluid dynamics calculation, and for manufacturing process in order to perform their daily tasks. Outside the career path, volume is used by consumers to determine how much quantity they want to buy in order to save on expenses. If a product has a big volume while another has a small volume and both of them have the same price, the consumer will go for the product with the bigger volume.
