Give and explain the different types of imagery used in poetry?

1. Personification-when something non-human is given human qualities.

2.Simile-Asimile is a direct comparison between two things,using like or as.

3.Metaphor- Is a comparison between two things e.g she is a giraffe

4.Symbolism- occurs when something that has one meaning is used to represent something entirely different.
