Ø At times, a word group work as an adjective. Read the sentences below:
· He is a doctor with a lot of experience.
· He is an experienced doctor.
Ø In the first sentence, ‘a lot of experience’ is an adjective phrase. In the second, ‘experienced’ has served the same purpose as the phrase in the first.
